DR PAUL VINSON

MB BS (London); DRCOG; DFFP; MRCGP; PGDip Cardio

Dr Vinson studied medicine at University College London and qualified in 1991. Having been born and bred in West Sussex he moved to Crawley in 1992 where he did his GP training and became a partner in his current practice in 1996. He is a GP trainer and has always maintained an interest in cardiology. He has been on West Sussex LMC for over 20 years and has a long history of clinical leadership. He is also a clinical lead for Planned Care for NHS Sussex

DR KATIE WEEDON

MB BS (London) 2000 BSc, MRCGP

I am proud to be a partner at Furnace Green Surgery. I qualified in Medicine at UCL in 2000 and did 5 years of Surgical training before deciding to become a GP. My Registrar Post was at Furnace Green Surgery and I basically never left! I was a Salaried GP until 2017 when I became a Partner. My special interests are in Minor Surgery, Women’s health, Paediatric medicine and Respiratory medicine. I am the adult and child safeguarding lead and work very closely with Burley’s Wood Nursing home.

DR OLU OBILEYE

MB BS (Ibadan); MSc; MRCGP

Dr Obileye is a GP Partner. He qualified in medicine in 2001 after studying at the University College Hospital, Ibadan. During his GP training, Furnace Green surgery was one of his training practices and he became a Partner in 2019 and has clinical interests in diabetes care, dermatology, minor surgery and joint injections. He is committed to providing safe, effective, and patient-centred care to individuals and families within the community, and is currently a Climate and Sustainability Lead.

DR JESSICA BEVERIDGE

I'm a GP Partner at Furnace Green Surgery and care a lot about making positive change in our community. I qualified in medicine at the University of Warwick in 2009 and prior to that had completed a degree in Psychology and Medical Ethics at the University of Cambridge. My medical journey began in A&E at Epsom Hospital, followed by GP training in Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone. I then spent 5 years working as an out-of-hours GP before joining Furnace Green Surgery as

Practice Management

Our Practice Business Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of Furnace Green Surgery. She will be pleased to help you with any problems or queries you may have concerning the practice and will always welcome your comments - whether they be good or bad. Please don't forget, you have a Patient Participation Group working for you at this surgery. Do contact them with ideas and suggestions to make your surgery better for all. Working alongside her are the clerical, administrative and secretarial team who are always ready to help you.

NATALIE JONES

Practice Business Manager

Reception

The reception team answer the phone calls coming into the surgery, respond to your enquiries and arrange repeat prescriptions when requested. They also support all the processing of documents within the surgery, and between your doctor and the hospitals. Their job is extremely demanding so please be patient.

Administration

Barbara and Claire are our administrators, supporting with tasks such as registering new patients, assisting doctors with medical reports, arranging rotas, and other administrative tasks.

Secretaries

Jackie and Kelly are our medical secretaries. They send referrals to other healthcare professionals and liaise with hospitals and other healthcare organisations.
