Our Practice Business Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of Furnace Green Surgery. She will be pleased to help you with any problems or queries you may have concerning the practice and will always welcome your comments - whether they be good or bad. Please don't forget, you have a Patient Participation Group working for you at this surgery. Do contact them with ideas and suggestions to make your surgery better for all. Working alongside her are the clerical, administrative and secretarial team who are always ready to help you.

The reception team answer the phone calls coming into the surgery, respond to your enquiries and arrange repeat prescriptions when requested. They also support all the processing of documents within the surgery, and between your doctor and the hospitals. Their job is extremely demanding so please be patient. The team consists of Kim O, Michelle, Phil, Emma, Diane, Claire, Kim D and Yvonne.

Barbara and Claire are our administrators, supporting with tasks such as registering new patients, assisting doctors with medical reports, arranging rotas, and other administrative tasks.

Jackie and Joan are our medical secretaries. They send referrals to other healthcare professionals and liaise with hospitals and other healthcare organisations.
