Change of Practice Manager
From the beginning of December the surgery will have a new Practice Manager. Natalie Jones is joining the team as Ruth James-Morse is retiring, but will still be around in a supportive role.
Dr Olu Obileye is now a Partner at the practice as of 1st October, 2019
Payment via VISA
From September 2019, the surgery can now accept payment for non NHS services via VISA. We cannot take payments over the phone or via Mastercard, American Express or any other credit card.
The surgery has recently upgraded it's clinical system where we can now text you about almost anything to do with your health. The linked service to our clinical system is AccuRx which you will see on your device when you receive a text message from us.
This will not replace your messages to remind you about your appointments, but more for one off messages that we need to send to you. At the bottom of each message you will always see the surgery address as confirmation that the message has come from us.

Recycle your Asthma Inhalers
It will help you access services even when we are closed. If you are already registered with us, we no longer request ID to register for online services. Just answer a few simple ID confirmation questions and we can set you up.
Next PPG Meeting
The next meeting is yet to be arranged but probably in February 2020 at 12.30pm at the Surgery. If you would like to have your input on making the practice better, come along and meet others who are like minded.

Appointment Text Reminders
We are sending appointment reminders by text to all of our patients who we have mobile telephone numbers for 24 hours before their appointments. Please make sure we have an up to date mobile number for you by speaking with a member of our reception team or click on 'Contact Us' and send us an email to inform us of your mobile number.
Plan to Meet GMS / PMS Contractual Requirement for Patient Online Service.
It is a contractual requirement for practices to enable patients to have online access to a more detailed version of their medical record (rather than the ‘Patient Summary’ version currently available online) by the 31st March 2016. This practice plans to offer the facility for patients to view online, export or print detailed coded information held in their own records from this date. When viewing your recorded Data, you must take care in determining your interpretation of what the Data is identifying.
You would need to apply for Online Access. Please contact the surgery for the form .
These dates are subject to the necessary NHS GP systems and software being available to the practice.
This practice currently offers the facility for patients:-
To book, view, amend, cancel and print appointments online
To order online, view and print a list of their repeat prescriptions for drugs, medicines or appliances
To view online and print summary information from their record, relating to medications, allergies, adverse reactions and any other items agreed between the practice and individual patient
We promote our online services to our patients through this website, practice waiting room leaflets, posters and the Patient Participation Group.
