Consulting Times

Normal consulting times are 8.50am to 11.50am and 3.00pm to 5.00pm. We also provide extended hours appointments (early mornings, evenings and weekends).

Consultations are by appointment only and can be made by telephone. Routine appointments are for 10 minutes. You will be asked by the receptionist, when booking the appointment, for a brief explanation of the problem.

Patients who have an urgent problem can leave their details for the Triage Doctor, who will assess their record and who may recommend further treatment or investigation.

Non urgent appointments can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance.

The doctors hold clinics, do home visits, attend meetings and have time off for holidays. Therefore, they are not all available in the surgery at every session. If you wish to see a particular doctor, there may be a waiting period.

If you think you may be infectious or feel too ill to wait in the waiting room, please tell the receptionist.

Please ask the receptionist if you wish to speak to them in confidence. If you require a chaperone or interpreter during the consultation, please inform reception when booking the appointment.
