Normal consulting times are 8.50am to 11.50am and 3.00pm to 5.00pm. (See also extended hours timings on the previous tab).

Consultations are by appointment only and can be made by telephone or in person at the surgery during surgery opening hours. Routine appointments are for 10 minutes, please discuss with receptionist if you believe you need longer.
Patients who require an emergency appointment are assessed by the Triage Doctor or Nurse either in person at the surgery or by telephone. Those patients whom he/she is unable to deal with and who are thought to need emergency treatment are given an appointment with a GP later that day.
All employers will allow time off work for people to attend the surgery during working hours if necessary. Non urgent appointments can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance.
The doctors hold clinics, do home visits, attend meetings and have time off for holidays. Therefore, they are not all available in the surgery at every session. If you wish to see a particular doctor, there may be a waiting period.
If you think you may be infectious or feel too ill to wait in the waiting room, please tell the receptionist.
Please ask the receptionist if you wish to speak to her in confidence. If you require a chaperone to be present, during your consultation, please inform reception when booking your appointment or when checking in.
Please do not ask for an urgent appointment unless it is really necessary.
DNA's (Did Not Attend)
Please ensure that you cancel any appointments that you no longer need. If you received a text reminder then you can cancel merely by replying with the single word - Cancel. If you continually fail to keep appointments you may be asked to leave the practice.
