Do you have a urinary tract infection (UTI)?

Having a urine infection is no fun for anyone.  However if you think that you may have a urine infection please phone the surgery to see if you need your urine tested by one of the clinicians or if you need your urine to be sent off to the laboratory for testing.

If instructed to bring in a urine sample, please do so by 11.00am.

Please do not drop in a urine sample without being informed to do so by one of the staff at the surgery as it may be destroyed without testing.

Blood tests

If you are due a blood test as part of your ongoing long term condition, please double check with reception as to when your next blood test is due.

We cannot do a blood test because a patient wants one done; it must be authorised by a GP first.  If you feel you may need a blood test due to ongoing symptoms or feeling run down, please book an appointment with a GP.  They will advise you on the best course of action for you.
